Completed March 7th 2017 as part of the performance workshop with Richard Layzell at DJCAD, UoD. This portion of the masterclass saw the participants split into groups in an attempt to document one small performance for each person. The artist here has chosen to sit under a burst pipe that she passes everyday on her way to university. On bad days the water runs all over the street, covering the footpath in a thin layer of liquid.
Since completing this masterclass, the pipe has been mended despite being broken for atleast 2 full years. No water leaks from the gutter. The growing stalagmites have dried up, appearing now like dried concrete. May now be even more interesting to sit under the pipe? Harking back to what was there before.
